How the War is Affecting the World Geopolitics

Given the intricate interactions among geopolitics, commodities pricing, and financial markets, the invasion of Russia had a profound impact on the world economy. 

Some of the worst economic repercussions of the conflict are being felt even beyond the theatre of Russia Ukraine War.

About a year after Russia invaded Ukraine, the front lines have shrunk, and fierce opposition has compelled Moscow to reduce its military objectives. Nonetheless, the War's diplomatic repercussions are still felt today all across the world.

The battle has changed international alliances, reignited dated concerns, and given NATO and the relationship between Europe and the United States fresh energy.

Moscow was brought closer to China, North Korea, Iran, and other pariah nations by the invasion. It also heightened concerns about China's intentions towards Taiwan while raising broad questions about sovereignty, security, and the use of military force.

According to Ian Lesser, vice president of the German Marshall Fund research tank, "the war underlines the interrelationship between diplomacy and the use of force in a way that has not been thought about in nearly the same form for many, many years."

According to Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, the invasion by Russian soldiers on February 24 "marked the total end of the post-Cold War world," he stated in a speech at Johns Hopkins University last month. "It has become clear that interconnectedness and globalisation cannot guarantee peace and development on a global scale."
