Who will prevail over others and win the FIFA World Cup 2022?

 One could ask the advice of coaches, players, fans, or fortune tellers, to get the answer. Or maybe the bookmakers who have a lot of financial stake in the outcome can answer this.

With thirty-two countries participating in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, there's a lot at stake. With upsets like Saudi Arabia defeating the mighty Argentina and Japan stunning Germany, every game is a tense encounter, with each team looking to upset their opponent and advance through the knockout stage. 

The group round is going on and 16 teams will get to reach the knockout round. Brazil and France are the pre-event 

. England and the Netherlands both started the tournament with victories, energizing fans and bettors who had backed them at comparatively short odds. Other potential champions are Germany and Argentina.

It is super exciting to watch, but who will win?

Brazil's last win came in 2002, and they're out to win their sixth title! 

They are a footballing powerhouse and are currently ranked first

Germany has become a familiar name on the World Cup stage, and they're out to win their fourth title. In 2016, Germany won the World Cup despite an aggressive Messi-led Argentina squad holding onto 64% of the ball. The glory crumbled in 2018 when Germany tried to defend their World Cup crown but failed to advance past the group stage. 

They are currently ranked eleventh in the FIFA World Rankings, but they have traded places in the top rankings for years. Germany found its feet in a 1-1 draw with Spain in the second game of group play after 

an unexpected loss to Japan in the first game.

Portugal is currently ranked ninth in the FIFA World Rankings.

. The Selecao are in Group B. Portugal struggled in the qualifying matches, which could be problematic in a few other groups, but because this is a comparatively weak group, it should get to the knockout stage without any issues. 

Spain are out to win their third title after winning in 2010 and 2014, and 

they're currently ranked seventh in the FIFA World Rankings. 

This year in the Nations League, Spain played admirably. It easily qualified despite losing to France in the title game. It has some great young guns (Pedri, Gavi, and Torres) establishing names for themselves on the international stage 

Belgium has struggled to live up to all of its expectations in the past several years, having bowed out in the quarter-finals of Euro 2020 and the semifinals of the 2018 World Cup. Nonetheless, it is the favorite to win Group F.

The Red Devils are out to win their first World Cup title and are currently ranked second in the FIFA World Rankings. 

Though some commentators mentioned they looked old and slow, Belgium still managed to pull out the win

Argentina are out to win their third title. They are currently ranked third in the FIFA World Rankings. Although, their shocking loss to Saudi Arabia wasn't the intended start to Lionel Messi's final World Cup! 

Argentina still has a team capable of turning this around

, and they might finish first in their group.

Although it is a great squad with potential, its average age is substantially higher

 than that of most other teams, which could be a disadvantage when playing against quicker, younger opponents. 

With good cause, France is up there toward the top of the odds board. 

France won the UEFA Nations League in 2020–21 after defeating Spain.

 France are the reigning champions, and they are currently ranked fourth in the FIFA World Rankings. Players like Ousmane Dembele and Kylian Mbappe are capable of performances that can get them through any crisis. After two group games, this team has yet to perform anything other than win despite having a multitude of quality scoring threats.

. In one of the most comprehensive displays of the first round, England began their World Cup campaign with six goals after going six games without a victory.

Although there are still concerns about the Three Lions' defense, this was a strong start for Gareth Southgate's team. Young guns Jude Bellingham and Bukayo Saka excelled in the attack. Harry Kane, is the nation's highest scorer all-time.

Switzerland, who went undefeated in qualifying games and beat Italy to earn an automatic World Cup ticket, could emerge as a surprise in this competition. The Swiss are out to win their first title. 

Switzerland have appeared in the finals of the World Cup on 12 occasions and has reached the quarter-finals on 3 occasions.

 They are currently ranked fifteenth in the FIFA World Rankings. Breel Embolo's goal against Cameroon gave them a good chance to go to the knockout rounds.

France, Germany, and Brazil are the favorites to win. Brazil and France are particularly strong in their current form. Spain and Portugal are expected to prove strong challengers as well. Belgium is predicted to do well from its group too.
