The US went crazy when news came out that a Republican, who is radically pro-life, had payed for an abortion in 2009. Gasoline was added to the fire when his son went to Twitter with new allegations of abuse, lies and cheating. On the other hand, major marijuana policies were announced by Biden. Is this coincidental timing or strategies for votes? 

Herschel Walker is a former American football star who is running for senate in Georgia, one of the most competitive states in the campaign for the November legislative elections, whose outcome will determine the future of the USA. 

He defends a complete ban on abortion, comparing it to murder and arguing that there should be 

 for rape, incest, or  a health issue concerning the mother's life.

The Republican nominee, though, has backed at least one exception for abortion—for himself.

A woman who Walker was dating years ago recently came out with allegations that Walker insisted she have an abortion in 2009. 

 for these assertions in the form of a $575 abortion clinic bill, a "get well" card from Walker, and a bank deposit receipt that showed the image of Walker's signed $700 personal check.

The woman claimed that the $125 discrepancy resulted from her "ball-parking" the price of an abortion after researching the process online and including expenditures for travel and recovery.

The $575 receipt indicates that the abortion occurred on September 12, 2009. Additionally, the deposit receipt from Bank of America shows that on September 17, 2009, Walker issued the woman a $700 check.

The lady's accusations were also independently verified by The Daily Beast with a close friend who looked after her in the days following the treatment.

The lady said Walker, who was single at the time, advised her to abort the baby because it was not the proper time for him to be a father. She felt the same way, but she was unaware that Walker had fathered an unmarried child earlier in the same year with a different woman.

She remarked that she couldn't deal with his lies during the campaign, a campaign where he so strongly opposed abortion and critiqued absent fathers. 

Robert Ingram, a lawyer who represents both the Walker campaign and Walker personally, answered after The Daily Beast contacted the campaign for comment.

Ingram said in a phone call that the information was inaccurate and that media was going after black conservatives. 

Walker issued a statement after the article was published, calling it a flat-out falsehood and denying it in the strongest words possible.

"I'm no longer taking this. I intend to file a lawsuit against the Daily Beast over this false statement. It will be filed in the morning tomorrow" he said.

Christian Walker, Herschel's adult son, attacked his father on Twitter while defending The Daily Beast.

“Every family member of Herschel Walker asked him not to run for office, because we all knew (some of) his past. Every single one,” he tweeted.

“He decided to give us the middle finger and air out all of his dirty laundry in public, while simultaneously lying about it.

This was a bombshell of a week for a campaign in a key state that could very well overturn the whole senate elections, drastically changing the political playground in the country. 

President Biden announced on Thursday that he would forgive all prior federal convictions for petty marijuana possession offenses and would urge governors to do the same.

It could mean thousands of pardons, which would lift a restriction that could have stopped some people from obtaining a job, a place to live, or a chance to pursue an education, according to Biden.

In addition, Biden said he will urge Xavier Becerra, secretary of health and human services, to start a study of the way marijuana is classified as a drug under federal law.

The Office of the Pardon Attorney will start establishing a procedure to provide certificates of pardon to those affected in the coming days.

The Justice Department will collaborate with our colleagues at the Department of Health and Human Services as they begin a scientific examination of how marijuana is classified under federal law, in compliance with the President's instruction.

Biden stated that while he opposed federal legalization of marijuana for recreational use in 2019, he supported federal legalization of marijuana for medical use since he did not think anyone should go to jail for using marijuana.
