Normally, in our daily life we use conventional ways to get energy. Which involves Coal, Petroleum ,Natural gas and to some extent Hydro electric power plants and Solar energy. Out of them, we mainly use Coal to get electricity, Natural gas in our homes for fire, and petroleum in our vehicles. All of them are non- sustainable and non- renewable. Majorly, they cause pollution which results in Green house effect, warming up our only homeland in this vast universe. Which is proving fatal as the flash flooding, sea level rising and heat waves. 

So, now scientists and governments around the world are trying to resolve this issue. By changing the methods of obtaining fuel. So, for this purpose scientists achieved a major success.

                    In the university of Adelaide, researchers have obtained green Hydrogen fuel by the  electrolysis of sea water. Green Hydrogen fuel is itself highly reactive and possible alternative option to all carbon emitting fuel sources and can help to tackle carbon emission to control climate change. This research was published in journal 

When the sea water undergoes the electrolysis, it gives off the Oxygen and Hydrogen. Out of these products of reactions Hydrogen which is light weight highly reactive source of fuel can be used.

2) Environment friendly, none of the products of the Electrolytic reaction are hazardous.

4) Can prove very helpful to tackle environmental problems such as climate change, rising sea levels and Green house effect, by reducing the carbon emission into the environment.

It doesn't need to be acidified or alkalized before the direct electrolysis or during the electrolysis. 

It can achieve the long term stability exceeding 100h at 500 mA/cm square.

Water is the source of fuel in future.
