World's First Methane Fueled Space Rocket

On 12th of July, 2023 the People's Republic of China shocked the world by launching the first ever liquid oxygen, liquid methane carrier rocket into the Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO).

With the launch of the first ever Methane fueled space rocket, we've ushered in the new era of sustainable space exploration with methane being more environmentally friendly due to its enhanced combustion efficiency.

Developed by Chinese private space launcher LandSpace Technology Cooperation, Zhuque-2 rocket is believed to be the largest and most powerful private rocket in China. 

LandSpace also has become the second Chinese company to ever launch a liquid-propellant rocket in space along with Beijing Tianbing Technology who successfully launched a kerosene-oxygen rocket in April.

Space sector is witnessing numerous state funded and private sector missions from NASA's Artemis to ISRO's Chandrayaan-3 and Gaganyaan; accordingly, China too on its side is also working on various missions to materialize the space sector for the benefit of its people.
