Today we are living in a world of surveillance, every move of ours, what we see, what we do even what we say is recorded. In today's world if you think that your actions are not visible you are completely wrong. Privacy is one of the basic fundamental rights a human being has but various people who are in positions of power and have money misuse our data and breach our privacy to satisfy their greed. That greed could be in the form of power or money.

One such case was the Cambridge Analytica data scandal in early 2018. The company was a big data company used to collect and analyze the data for political campaigns in various countries and help the political parties who hired them to win the elections. In 2016 during the US presidential elections, the company bought and harvested the data from Facebook. They had gathered at least 5000 data points on each American who was eligible to vote in the elections from that the company analyzed the chats of the people, their posts, and what they liked and gathered the data points, from this data they got to know what the people wanted and liked according to this the political advertising of the political party took place.1." Aleksandr Kogan, a data scientist at Cambridge University, developed an app called "This Is Your Digital Life". He provided the app to Cambridge Analytica. Cambridge Analytica, in turn, arranged an informed consent process for research in which several hundred thousand Facebook users would agree to complete a survey only for academic use. However, Facebook's design allowed this app not only the personal information of people who agreed to take the survey but also the personal information of all the people in those users' Facebook social network. In this way, Cambridge Analytica acquired data from millions of Facebook users. "                                                                                                        

The data analytics company also was involved in the BREXIT movement alongside UKIP the internal emails show how they have conspired against the people of their nation and targeted the voters. 2. " Cambridge Analytica went bankrupt after its role in online targeting of voters, particularly in the United States, became public in 2018. Facebook has also been fined $5 billion by U.S. authorities and smaller amounts by British and Italian ones for its role in the data scandal over accusations that it did not sufficiently protect its users' data from widespread data collection by political groups. There is an immense need for the governments of various countries to understand this problem and incorporate "THE RIGHT TO PRIVACY" into the fundamental rights. Privacy is the basic right of a human being and the government should be able to protect it. There should be laws imposed on the companies to protect the data of the users or else their working license should be eradicated in that particular country.

Gene editing or genome editing is a type of genetic engineering in which DNA  is inserted, deleted, modified or replaced in the genome of a living organism. Unlike early genetic engineering techniques that randomly insert genetic material into a host genome, genome editing targets the insertions to site-specific locations. "

CRISPR-Cas9 is the tool used for gene editing. 2. "CRISPR-Cas9 is a unique technology that enables geneticists and medical researchers to edit parts of the genome by removing, adding or altering sections of the DNA sequence. It is currently the simplest, most versatile and precise method of genetic manipulation and is, therefore, causing a buzz in the science world. Gene editing is a method that would change the way we look at science and the human body. With its help, one could simply change the part of DNA that needs to be changed and replace it with synthetic DNA. This way we get the desired results. This is a huge change as using this we can just remove the cancer cells or any other component of the DNA which could lead to any known disease and that disease would not occur to the human being in the future. It could further be used to create designer babies, in these babies, you could just change the DNA and create the body type or mental capabilities in your child that you want. It is a way that humans can change and manipulate nature.

With this, the jobs of all the doctors who are specialists in different body types and diseases are in danger because there won't be any need for their services after this as most of the people who require their services would be gene-edited and their children will be designer babies. All the knowledge of these doctors would go to waste and they would need to develop new skills.

In today's world, the technology developed by scientists for gene editing will drastically change the structure of society. Earlier, in society, discrimination was between men and women where the men were seen as superior to women. In the current scenario with gene editing and the cheap treatment offered by CRISPR-Cas9, only the people who have the money can use this treatment to upgrade their children through gene editing. The children (designer babies) born with edited DNA will be physically and mentally superior as compared to other children around them who aren't gene-edited / designer babies.

This will lead to the formation of a new race of humans who will be more advanced than other humans. Thus, after this, there would be a separation in society. It is a possibility that the world could be divided into two races of humans and the superior humans could either eliminate or create separation like a wall. The inferiors could fight for equal rights or create a separate country which would lead to gene isolation and one part of humanity would not be able to survive with changes in the environment (if something happens)  they would experience evolution later as compared to the superior race.

Gradually they would be wiped off the face of the Earth.

Gene editing should be legal as science is advancing each day and humanity cannot resist change but they can certainly put up a restriction on the degree of change.

There are various reasons for this sluggish growth in the second decade of the 21st Century."slowbalisation" has on the world. Slowbalisation is caused by a lot of factors like political, technological, geopolitical, climate change and global threats.

Protectionism: the theory or practice of shielding a country's domestic industries from foreign competition by taxing imports;

Policies: Made by the government relating to tariffs and economy and;

Pandemic : (of a disease) prevalent over a whole country or the world.

In the past 10 years after the 2008 financial crisis, 3. "there have been around 7000 protectionist measures taken up by the world's top 60 economies". These measures are taken by the countries to make trade barriers which stop "free trade" and prevent globalization. The refugee crisis around the world led to protectionist measures as developed countries don't want to open their borders to refugees because their growth is already slowing down.

Also, in the wake of the rightist movement across the world, the conservatives have taken the reins and are creating trade barriers and leading toward closed economies. During the US-China Trade war, the tariffs increased exponentially which resulted in a loss of $455bn to both countries.

The pandemics such as Ebola and the current pandemic Covid-19 hampered the world economy and the world's share markets crashed and international trade declined immensely. COVID-19 caused approximately a loss of $6 trillion to the world economy and will likely lead to a global recession in 2020. While 4. " The Ebola epidemic had a pronounced socio-economic impact in Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. According to 2014 projections from the World Bank, an estimated $2.2 billion was lost in 2015 in the gross domestic product GDP of the three countries". These examples show that the three Ps of "slowbalisation" are interlinked with each other. Policies are a reaction to Pandemics which lead to Protectionism.

The first T(technology), In the past ten years, technology has changed extensively. The new technology became a blockbuster for the investors with the earnings reaching unprecedented heights. Technology trade increases the volume of trade in goods. and increases product variety at the market equilibrium. New technologies like blockchain, automation, machine learning and big data change the global economy in their eloquent way. 5. "However, technology services are especially vulnerable to politics and protectionism, reflecting concerns about fake news, tax-dodging, job losses, privacy and espionage".

The second T(territory), "The Political Decoy of War" such as the nuclear tensions between North Korea and the US are a severe threat to global peace. Another such example is the recent US assassination of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani created a war-like situation in the two countries. This creates fear in the global markets which could lead to economic depression like the "Great Economic Depression" in the 1930s. Brexit, the exit of the UK from the European Union, was born in part of the instinct to throw up barriers against the world. 6. " But within it was an ultra-liberal strand, which regarded the EU as too statist and parochial. Britons will lose the automatic right they now have to live and work across the EU". This is thus a protectionist measure. Similarly, the refugee crisis is also a protectionist measure as mentioned above.

Now with the last T(trade), Business Cartels have always been there in trade and are most prominently present in the oil industry where the Organisation of Oil Exporting Countries(OPEC) controls the oil prices. Recently, there was a turf between Russia and OPEC when Russia flouted its terms with OPEC. 7. Fiscal Stimulus: refers to increasing government consumption or transfers or lowering taxes. Effectively this means increasing the rate of growth of public debt, except that particularly Keynesians often assume that the stimulus will cause sufficient economic growth to fill that gap partially or completely.

One recent example of this is the economic stimulus bill to alleviate the economic impact of the coronavirus outbreak by the US government. 8. The slowbalisation in the world economy is a good boy for the planet while a bad boy for humans and their economy. It is a "bad boy" because firstly, with the slower pace of globalization for most countries it will become difficult to procreate money at the rate they used to do before. Trade tensions will lead to financial turbulence. The trade will become slow or may diminish in the future this will harm the GDP of the countries and lead to higher rates of unemployment. Secondly, it won't fix the problems created by globalization. With automation and AI entering the world arena unskilled workers are at risk and always replaceable. 9." Problems like climate change, migration and dodging taxes are harder to solve without global cooperation". This could also convert into a global economic depression if the economy starts diminishing as all economies are interlinked. In the end, it will only feed the discontent.

While it is mother earth's favourite son "Slowbalisation" is the need of the hour to cope with global warming and reduce the global carbon footprint. Also, it will help the countries to shrink economic inequalities and redirect national economies on the path of local growth.
