over 11 million Brazillians are illeterate

 this is because of the high drop out rate of children who are in the primary age.

  Children without education will later have massive problems as they become adults. Some illiterate citizens might resort to crime, while some might fall into poverty; because they do not meet the standard requirements needed for a good paying job. According to Statista, the unemployment rate in Brazil as of 2021 is 14.7% the unemployment rate was increased by 3% because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
