A sense of responsibility, power and commitment came to reality when the world largest democracy got the chance to host the prestigious 

meeting. India has always prove itself and this time the theme said it all. One earth, one family, one planet or as the famous saying goes 

vasudhaiva kutumbakam ( whole world is one family)

This saying has a special place in each and every citizen of India, Indians always see their guest or foreigners as a part of their huge family.

Thus, the stage was set with numerous meetings and then comes the real discussion and the genuine demand of India.

A demand that the world needs now,a demand for inclusive growth, a demand which once again proves that with great power comes great responsibilty.

This was the demand of allowing AFRICA to enter the 

From the past week mixed reactions are coming for this demand of India.

But how pragmatic and genuine this demand is? 

RELATION OF INDIA WITH THE AFRICAN CONTINENT

From a very long time Africa was the long lost part in the geopolitical realm, but as the time passes by it got attention of developed nation. Filled with lots of minerals as well as human potential this part on map can give the world a lot more if explored seriously.

Talking in trade terms, INDIA and AFRICA total trade comprises of 74.86 USD BLN out of which India's export is approx 33.08 USD BLN (2021-22, ministry of commerce).

Not only this both the countries share cordial relationship and cultural bonds, with increasing trend of bollywood movies and music in countries like Tanzania and South Africa a special and unbreakable relation can be seen.

African continent or African union (AU) came into effect in 2002 with almost 55 countries coming together. Their goal was simple to promote the unity and solidarity of the African States. To merge it with the pace of upcoming world, to fulfill the dreams of future generations, to defend their sovereignity, territorial integrity, and independence.

India totally understand this vision, as after independence we too struggle for this commom goal. Now after 75 years of independence when India is capable of achieving its own dream so why not giving this stage a chance to include the less spoken part of the world, to give them the chance so that they can achieve their goal by discussing it with other developed countries.

However, this is not the first time when the Indian government has recogised the dilemma of AU.

But when the whole world is fighting with the global pandemic, it was India who offers approx 25 million doses (made in India)to almost 41 African countries.

Time has come to cater and fulfill the need of ignored nations and give them what they truly deserve.

Indian government and officials are trying hard to let the world listen the voice of Africa because a great leader or host is not that who speaks for himself but a great leader is that who let other speak.
